Let me begin by saying thank you, my fellow Albertans, for placing your trust in me. I am both humbled and honoured that you placed your confidence and support in me when you elected me as one of Alberta’s three senate nominees.
I feel blessed to take on these future responsibilities to represent Alberta’s regional voice in Ottawa. I strongly believe that I can represent Alberta when in need and take charge when necessary. I believe we can build on the progress we have made and continue to stand up for new jobs, new opportunities, and new security for the middle class. We all know in our hearts that for Alberta the best is yet to come. I want to thank all Albertans who took part in this election. We are proud Albertans and we will make other provinces admire us. A special THANK YOU to my campaign team. Without your hard work, our campaign could not have been successful.
I thank the other candidates who ran in the election, and I thank you for taking part in the democratic process. I want to sincerely thank everyone who took time out of their busy lives to meet with me during the campaign. I will try my best to fulfill your expectations and not let you down.
